How to install Citrix Xenserver 7.5 Step By Step

Hello Friends today i have come with another tutorial from Citrix Xenserver in this tutorial i have explained how to install Citrix Xenserver 7.5 so please find the following step and System requirement to install Citrix Xenserver 7.5.
What is Citrix Xenserver ?
Ans:-Citrix XenServer is a hypervisor platform that provided by Citrix System Using Xenserver you can install and Run multiple server on a Single Hardware the most recent released Version of Citrix that is 8.1 which is released in December 2019.

Minimum System requirement for Xenserver installation.
XenServer 7.5 ISO : You can Download from Citrix Official Website Download Link.
Hardware Should be capable for virtualization.
Hardware Compatibility List: http://hcl.xenserver.org/
Minimum 2GB ram; 4GB.
Minimum 1 64-bit x86 1.5GHz cpu.
Hard drive space of at least 46GB.
Network Card at least 100 mbps.

Step 1.Insert the  Bootable DVD or USB Drive in the Server and boot the Server from USB and DVD Drive and wait for Next Screen.

Step 2.Now you can see Server has been boot so please press the Enter button to install Xenserver.

Step 3.Here you have to select keymap so just select the keymap and press OK button. 

Step 4.Here it giving the warning that installing the Xenserver will erase all the data on the disk so click on OK button.

Step 5.Here it is showing License Agreement so just accept IT.

Step 6.Here it is asking disk selection so just select the disk and click on OK button.

Step 7.Here it is asking installation source so just select Local Media and click on OK Button.

Step 8.Here it is asking to Verify the installation source so just skip this step and click on OK button.

Step 9.Here you need to set Root password of Xenserver so just put the password and click on OK button.

Step 10.Here it is asking to set the IP address so just set the IP and click on OK button in this demo i am using DHCP so i have select DHCP.

Step 11.Here you need to put DNS server IP address so just put the DNS IP and click on OK button.

Step 12.Here you need to select time zone so just select and click on OK button.

Step 13.Here you need to select City so just select your city and click on OK Button.

Step 14.Here you need to select system time so just select IT and click on OK button.

Step 15.Here you need to provide NTP server configuration so just put the details and click on OK Button.

Step 16.Here it is asking to confirm the installation so just click on install Xenserver option to proceed the installation and wait for sometime to complete the installation.

Step 17.Here you can see it is preparing the installation so wait.

Step 18.Here it is asking to install any supplemental Pack so just select NO.

Step 19.Now you can see installation has been started so just wait for sometimes to competition.

Step 20.Here you can see installation has been successfully complete so just click on OK button.

Step 21.Here you can see we have successfully install the Citrix Xenserver 7.5.

How to Create a VM Copy or Clone Job in Veeam Backup & Replication

Hello Friends today i have come with another tutorial of Veeam Series In my previous tutorial i have explained How to Upgrade Veeam Backup and Replication Software in this tutorial i have explained how you can Create a Virtual Machine Copy or Clone Job in Veeam Backup & Replication it is very useful if you have no vCenter tool.

So please find the following step to create a Virtual Machine Copy or clone Job.
Step 1. Open the Veeam Backup and Replication Software and click on standalone Hosts then select the Host Virtual Machine whose you want to create Copy and Clone Job.

Step 2. Here you need to Right Click on Virtual Machine Whose you want to Create Copy or Clone so just Right Click on Virtual Machine and Select Add to VM copy Job and Wait for Next Screen.

Step 3. Here you can put the Virtual Machine Copy and clone Job Name and click on Next Button.

Step 4.Here you can see Virtual Machine has been selected so click on Next Button.

Step 5.Here you can Choose Backup destination otherwise leave the default Backup repository and click on next button.

Step 6.Here you can choose like application-aware Processing if you have any application and Database server like SQL otherwise leave it and click on Next Button.

Step 7.Here you can define the Schedule if you want otherwise leave it and click on apply button and wait for Next Screen.

Step 8.Here you can Verify the Job Summary and Select Run the job when i Click finish and click on Finish Button.

Step 9.Here you can see Job is running so wait sometimes to complete this task.

Step 10.If you want to see the Job Process and Details so just right click on running Job and click on Statistics and wait for Next screen.

Step 11.Here you can see the Job progress and Speed.

Step 12.Now you can see job has been completed successfully so Click on OK Button. 

Step 13.Here you can see Virtual Machine Copy job file if you want to create another Virtual Machine using this file so you have to upload the folder on ESXi datastore and register the virtual Machine using .VMX file.

How to upgrade Veeam Backup and Replication u3a to u4a Step By Step

Hello Friends today i have come with another tutorial of Veeam Series In my previous tutorial i have explained How to Restore VM Free Using Veeam Backup and Replication in this tutorial i have explained how you can upgrade your Veeam Backup and replication Software.

Please find the following step to upgrade Veeam Backup and replication software.

Step 1. 1st you need to stop all the Backup jobs and all the services of Veeam which you can seen in the following screenshot.

Step 2.Open the ISO file which you have download from Veeam Website and double click on Setup.exe file and wait for next screen.

Step 3.Now you can see upgrade wizard is open so click on upgrade option and wait for next screen.
Step 4.Here you need to accept the terms of the veeam license agreement so just select and click on next button.

Step 5.Here you can review upgrade process and click on next button.

Step 6.Here you need to provide license file of Veeam Backup software so just select the file and click on next.

Step 7.Here you need to provide administrative right so just select Local System Account and click on next.

Step 8.Here you need to select existing SQL instance and windows authentication so just select and click on next button.

Step 9.Here you can see software is ready to install so just click on install button and wait for sometime to finish the installation.

Step 10.Here you have to click on apply button for updating the server component.

Step 11.Now you can see all the component has been upgrade successfully so just click on finish button.

Step 12. Now you can see we have successfully upgrade the Veeam Backup and Replication.

Step 13.Now you can see the Version of Veeam Backup and Replication that is Update 4.

How to Restore VM Free Using Veeam Backup and Replication

Hello Friends today i have come with another tutorial of Veeam Series In my previous tutorial i have explained How to create a Backup Job in Veeam Backup and replication in this tutorial i have explained how you can recover the Virtual Machine.
Question:- Why we need to recover the Virtual Machine ?

Answer:- find the following common reason and solutions to restore the Virtual Machine.

• In case of Production Virtual Machine goes down :- You can restore the Virtual Machine on Same ESXi Host from backup.
• In case of Storage failure :- You can restore the Virtual Machine on different Datastore from backup.
• In case of ESXi OS failure :- You can restore Virtual Machine on different ESXi Host from backup.
• In case of Hardware failure of ESXi : - You can restore Virtual Machine on different ESXi Host from backup.
• In case of Guest OS is not booting :- You can restore the Virtual Machine on Same ESXi Host from backup.

• So just find the following step to Recover a Virtual Machine in Veeam Backup and Replication.

Step 1. Open Veeam Backup and Replication Console and click on VMware vSphere you can seen in following screen.

Step 2. Here you need to select ESXi host after that select the virtual Machine which you want to restore and click on restore option.

Step 2.Here Restore wizard is opened so just select the Virtual Machine and click on restore option.

Step 4.Here you need to select Entire VM(including registration) Option and wait for next screen.

Step 5.Here Restore point is showing so just select the Virtual Machine and click on Next button.

Step 6.Here you need to select restore location you can choose any one option in these 2 so i am restoring the Virtual Machine to different location so just select the location and click on Next button.

Step 7.Here it is showing the Virtual Machine and original location here i need to change the host location so just click on Host option and select the different Host where you want to restore.

Step 8.Here you can see all available host so just select the host where you want to restore and click on OK button.

Step 9.Now you can seen host has been selected so just click on next button.

Step 10.Here you can choose resource like datastore otherwise leave it default and click on next button.

Step 11.Here you can see the Server hard disk and datastore size so just verify the details and click on next button.

Step 12.Here you can define the Virtual Machine name and Folder otherwise leave default and click on Next button.

Step 13.Here you can define the Virtual Machine Network so just select the Virtual Machine Network and click on next button.

Step 14.Here you can put the reason why you are restoring the Virtual Machine for identification and click on Next button.

Step 15.Here you can verify the restore Summary and select the Power on target VM after restoring option and click on Finish button.

Step 16.Here you can see Virtual Machine has been restored successfully so just click on close button.
